RJ45 Extender

While standard ethernet is normally on cat 5 wiring, the couplers are called rj45 connectors. In large manufacturing these connectors are crimped on by machine - in the field technicians utilize job-specific tools to crimp an rj45 connector. Since rj45 connectors are used in an ethernet installation, and occasionally, the ethernet needs to be extended, we will find the term rj45 extender. This term is synonymous with cat5 extender, ethernet extender or network extender.
